We saw beautiful beaches , Buddhist & Hindu temples , mountains, museums, turtle hatchery , tea plantations, elephants, wild life , local markets and enjoyed the delicious local food . We enjoyed it so much that we’re thinking of going back . This time to see the wonderful works of the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa.

The tour guide was very nice, he... read more knew that we were not so into spicy food and he picked restaurants that fit our appetite. He also remind us when to pay tips and when not to pay..we really appreciate his personalised services to meet our needs. I remembered one time when we went out of money, he drove us to the closest money exchange with a good rate, he was very caring and helped us a lot throughout the trip.

He was very polite and explained our itinerary in detail, we were very comfort with his services.

You can visit temples, ancient cities, tea plantations, jungle and beaches…a perfect mix between culture, nature and sea!
Sham, our driver and guide, followed us on this beautiful journey making us discover the culture of this country, telling us the history and curiosities of each place and tasting an authentic local experience. He was great, precise and accommodating to our request. The locals offer an unmatchable hospitality. So…you need to visit Sri Lanka!

Ps. Despite all the news that you can read in Europe we had no problems with fuel, food or power.
Government provide fuel to tourist guide with a Qr code, that give them full access and the possibile to jump the cue. Power cut were limited just for 6/7 days for 2h most of the time we didn’t notice.

We visited Pinnawala, Dambulla cave tample, Sigiria, Ramboda falls, Nuwara Eliya tea plants and tea factory, Ella and Yala national park. Everything was very well orginized. Our guide also showed us some good places where we tried national food and best fresh fruts (pineapple, strawberry, mango).
